Gabriel Shippam facebook note. 7:22am August 11th, 2009 i had some God conversations with some people yesterday… I was speaking with some people who live in tough circumstances. The people live in low-income hotels and often go hungry, lonely, poor and hopeless. We were chatting about Ps. 44 and leaning on God\’s strength instead of our own. They were sharing about how once they started to do that, they were healed of drug addiction or are praying for further physical healing. (more stories are on facebook God Conversations Cause page. I have had so many conversations with folks since we launched that haven\’t even been posted yet. From former playmate models giving their life to Jesus after getting “More Than a Carpenter”, to friends who wonder if they can ever share their faith with anyone. Take this Adventure a day at a time. God will take our meager offering of some fish and bread and turn it into a feast! Keep posting!

Sunday, Day Zero… I was down on my knees, praying at the alter and God put it on my heart to participate in this “Great Adventure’. I stopped by Walmart in Santee today and was approached by a young man with a music CD.  He asked for a donation.  After speaking with him about the project and looking at the CD I decided to make a donation and take the CD.  What impressed me most was that this young man and his friends were spreading the Gospel.  The CD was full of Christian rap music, composed by SK and performed by SK’s family (even little children) and the young man I spoke with.  I honestly got tears in my eyes as I drove away listening to [...]
