I was pitching the 42-day “Unexpected Adventure” in the lobby of Foothills Christian Church. It felt like the old days at tradeshows. A young man look over at me behind my pile of books. “Hey, how you doing?” I called out.
“Good”, he responded.
“You interested in taking an adventure in sharing your faith?”
I admit, in my enthusiasm I must have sounded like the guy who sells potato peelers at the fair.
“Not really”, he replied, “I just came over to tell you thank you. Four years ago I came forward for prayer at this church and you prayed with me to receive Jesus as my Lord. I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been walking with Jesus ever since. Thanks.” And he walked away.
I was speechless.
This adventure is priceless. The consequences and rewards are eternal. Take the risk and show His love today. A prayer, an intentional act of godliness, the sharing of your garden with a neighbor…..live this adventure.

“SHAMWOW” just trying to get the feel of the trade show. Anyway, I was amazed to read this story. I always hear about how people get changed by comming forward for prayer, and knowing first hand that it reall does happen right there as it did for me. You also prayed for me to receive Jesus and I have not looked back since. I was also amazed at the fact of your story that you were speechless
