SKATER ASKED ABOUT JESUS

After my Skateboard Ministry meeting I noticed a kid that use to be in one of the art classes I taught at an Elementary school. So, I went up and said hello to him. I saw he had a skateboard and told him about the ministry that I do. He told me that he did not go to church, but wanted to know more about Jesus and the Bible. Of course I said let\’s grab a seat and talk. I also invited in one of our teen leaders so he could meet him also. We talked about the basics of how Jesus gave his life for us and how the Bible is a true account of God and Jesus. I also gave him a copy of a Bible that I had for just such an occasion. I have not seen him since that night, but have heard from others that hang out at Youth Venture that there is a skater that has newly come to Christ. I am trying to catch up with him to see how his life has changed.
